Seventh Heaven is a dark comedy about a man on a verge of a nervous breakdown. So he rehearses the speech with his actor friend, but every time he faces the wife, he chickens out and confesses something else, such as buying her a new car. He gets completely entangled in the web of his own lies, overwhelmed by paranoia, convinced that the wife is onto him, that he's being followed... The story follows three friends, Kokan, Deuce, and Sax, a trio that experiences an almost surreal road trip. On the day of Kokan’s house celebration, after a lot of alcohol and drugs, the gang decides to go to Kokan’s girlfriend's house and ask for her hand. The following day they woke up not remembering anything, while an Albanian girl is in the same room with them. They soon realize that Kokan got rejected by his girlfriend, and they have bought a bride from Albania. So, they decide to take the girl back to her family in Albania and ask for their money. Even though it seems easy at first, the three friends and the Albanian girl end up having an unbelievably crazy trip. While they try to reach their final destination, the gang meets several weird characters that will change their lives forever. (OUT OF COMPETITION) A special screening marking the anniversary of Montenegrin Cinematheque The film was produced by Lovćen Film in 1960, and a year later it was shown at the Cannes Festival. This is Velimirović's debut feature film. The Montenegrin Cinematheque restored this film together with the Yugoslav Cinematheque, so it was recently shown again in Cannes as part of the Cannes Classic program. The adventures of four convicts who were given fourteen days of freedom on the basis of good conduct, and their attempts to adapt in rather changed environment. October 1958, the Cold War is at its peak. The fear of a nuclear war is growing everyday. Working on a secret experiment at the state nuclear institute Vinča in Yugoslavia, a group of young communist scientists led by Professor Dragoslav Popović get irradiated with a lethal dose of uranium. Under the veil of secrecy, in the middle of the night, on a special flight, they are sent to Paris to the Institut Curie clinic for experimental medical treatment headed by respected doctor Georges Mathé.
