On 23 January, 2020, from 18:30 h. a special screening of "Manaki - A Story in Pictures" - the winner of the best documentary award of SEE a A Paris 2019, is on the program of Cinema Odeon of The Bulgarian National Film Archive. At the same time, this event will represent the celebration of the work of Makanki brothers, the first cinematographers in the Balkans. Special guests on the screening will be Vladimir Angelov, the director of Cinemateque of Macedonia, and author of the film, Robert Jankuloski, who will have a Q & A session with the audience.

[email protected] DOWNLOAD ENTRY FORM DOWNLOAD REGULATIONS South-East European Film Festival 2020 SEE FF - BERLIN - PARIS “SEE FILM FESTIVAL” is established by Association SEE a Paris, a non-profit organization whose responsibilities include, among others, the selection of the Festival line-up and the films in competition. The Festival will take place in Berlin, Germany, from 28 to 31 May 2020, and in Paris, France from 2 to 5 June 2020. The Festivals in Berlin and Paris are open to all films (feature, documentary, fiction and animation) whose directors and/or producers originate from the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey. The festival has officially opened its call for entries and accepts submissions of short, medium, and long films for the Main Competition. All shooting formats are accepted. The duration of the short films must not exceed 15 minutes. There's no time limit for feature, documentary and animation films. The deadline for submission is 8 February 2020. There is no submission fee. We prefer online submission through the web platforms FilmFreeway. You can, however, still apply directly to the Festival. In this case, it is mandatory that applicants send a download link or link to online screener of their film, along with a filled and signed ENTRY FORM on the mail [email protected]. For any other form of submission, please contact us by mail. For more information about the application please read the REGULATIONS. The selected applicants shall be informed about the selection of their film by the 1 March 2020. The Festival line-up shall be announced after 15 March 2020 on the Festival website. |
